The Benchmark Positive Antibody series currently offers two main versions:
V6: Meets standard quality benchmarks with endotoxin levels at or below 1 EU/mg, along with a 95% purity rating in SDS-PAGE and SEC-HPLC testing. This version undergoes bioactivity testing but does not include Host Cell Protein (HCP) or Ion Exchange Chromatography (IEX) testing. Catalog numbers for the V6 series begin with a "B".
V9: This version adheres to more stringent specifications, with an endotoxin threshold of 0.1 EU/mg. Like the V6, it has 95% purity levels confirmed by SDS-PAGE and SEC-HPLC. However, the V9 also includes additional validation through HCP and IEX testing, providing further assurance for bioactivity-focused research. Catalog numbers for the V9 series start with "BP".
The Benchmark Positive Antibody series does not yet include a V3 version. Abinvivo is actively working to finalize additional validation methods that may become available across the series in the future. Isotype Negative Antibodies
Isotype Negative Antibodies are used as controls in studies where comparing specific antibody effects are required. Designed to complement functional antibody research, these isotype controls are particularly useful for applications involving the Benchmark Positive antibodies.
V3: The V3 isotype negative version is tailored for researchers who require a control antibody with an endotoxin level of 2 EU/mg and 95% purity via SDS-PAGE and SEC-HPLC. This product is intended primarily for studies without stringent bioactivity requirements, as it does not undergo bioactivity testing, HCP testing, or IEX validation. V9: Designed to meet the most rigorous standards, the V9 Isotype Negative antibody mirrors the specifications of the Benchmark Positive V9.
