Antibodies After Hours: From Algorithms to Antibodies – South San Francisco

Biointron 2026-09-16 Read time: 3 mins

Biointron’s Antibodies After Hours: From Algorithms to Antibodies was held at The Hangar in South San Francisco, on Friday, September 4, 2026. “Antibodies After Hours” is a networking reception series from Biointron held in biotech hubs across the United States, with events previously hosted in San Diego, South San Francisco, and Boston.

This event aimed to connect the minds behind AI-designed antibodies, with attendees ranging from scientists to C-suite executives from traditional biopharma and AI-driven antibody fields.

We had a sunny afternoon of networking, drinks, and delicious appetizers with members of the biotech and pharma community at South San Francisco’s newest culinary venue!

The theme “From Algorithms to Antibodies” reflects the shift in biologics discovery, as artificial intelligence (AI) increasingly connects computational design with experimental research. Advances in machine learning, protein structure prediction, and generative AI now allow researchers to explore vast antibody sequence spaces, predict antigen-binding interactions, and design novel candidates with greater speed and precision.

However, translating algorithms into functional antibodies remains a key challenge. Computational predictions must be validated experimentally to confirm whether designed antibodies can be successfully expressed, bind their intended targets, and demonstrate suitable developability properties. As AI-driven antibody design continues to accelerate, the demand for rapid, high-quality wet-lab data is growing. The next step is not simply designing more antibodies, but generating the experimental evidence needed to identify and improve promising candidates.

To help bridge this gap, Biointron has launched RushData, an integrated high-throughput wet-lab platform designed for AI-driven antibody discovery. Combining rapid CHO-based antibody expression, binding characterization, and developability assessment, RushData helps researchers translate computational designs into experimentally validated data.

To celebrate the launch of RushData, Biointron is introducing a special launch offer for researchers developing AI-designed antibodies. This is an opportunity to accelerate experimental validation and explore how high-throughput wet-lab data can support your antibody discovery pipeline. Contact Biointron to learn more about the launch promotion and how RushData can support your next project.
