Biointron is proud to announce the launch of the Biointron Quarterly Travel Grant Program, a new initiative designed to empower early-career scientists in the antibody field to share their research with the world. The program reflects our ongoing commitment to accelerating discovery and supporting the next generation of innovators driving progress in antibody science.

Conferences and scientific meetings play a vital role in fostering collaboration and innovation in the industry. Meeting peers face-to-face can spark new ideas and collaborations that lead to breakthroughs years later. These events can also open doors to mentorship, funding, and partnerships that shape entire careers. However, for many early researchers, the cost of participation can be a barrier. The Biointron Travel Grant aims to change that by providing financial support for those at the start of their research careers.

Grant Overview

The Biointron Quarterly Travel Grant provides up to $800 per award, offered four times per year. The funds can be used to cover travel and participation expenses related to scientific conferences, symposia, or workshops.

Eligibility:

  • Recent graduates beginning research careers

  • Postdoctoral researchers

  • PhD students

  • Early-career scientists in academia or industry

  • Research Focus: Applicants must be conducting research related to antibodies or antibody-based technologies.

Application Process

Applying for the Biointron Travel Grant is simple. Applicants should submit a short CV, a brief description of the conference they wish to attend, and two short statements (one summarizing current research and another explaining how attending the event will contribute to professional growth).

Applications are accepted year-round, and each submission will be reviewed based on scientific merit, relevance to antibody research, and potential career impact. All applications can be submitted directly through the online application form here.

Why Apply?

  • Financial Support: Offset conference travel and registration costs.

  • Visibility: Present your research to the global antibody community.

  • Career Growth: Build professional connections and gain recognition among peers and potential collaborators.

By helping researchers attend international events, Biointron hopes to create a ripple effect of collaboration and innovation across the antibody field. We see this as an investment in the future of antibody science, as every discovery shared, every connection made, brings the field one step closer to breakthroughs that change lives.

Apply Today

Applications for the Biointron Quarterly Travel Grant are open now. Interested researchers can learn more and apply through the Biointron Travel Grant Program page.
